Atrium Paintings to be Dedicated
by anonymous on September 17, 2013New Paintings to be Dedicated
Six new paintings now adorn the walls of the Good Shepherd Atrium (for children ages 3-6) at St. Margaret's. They appear as windows, looking out upon grazing sheep, with an occasional lamb looking back at you. These beautiful paintings were completed this summer by our own Jane Lovett Holt, acclaimed artist, along with a whole studio of faithful friends and artists who helped with the project.
These paintings will be dedicated in loving memory of Jane Deal Chesnutt Murray, former director of Children's Formation at St. Margaret's. Along with many other faithful volunteers, Jane was passionate about the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd ministry to children, and helped support and grow this program at St. Margaret's.
The dedication will take place on Sunday, September 22nd immediately after the 10:30 worship service. Please join us for this special occasion.
