Opportunities for Giving

Opportunities for Giving at St. Margaret’s

Stewardship: Each year during our annual Stewardship Ingathering we are asked to tithe to support the mission of God in the Diocese of Arkansas and St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church. You may do that by making an annual gift for mission and ministry. The vestry develops an operating budget for the year based on the estimated gifts of parishioners. You may ask the financial secretary for help in setting up an automatic withdrawal or you may choose to pay weekly or monthly or annually by check.

Capital Campaigns: From time to time the Vestry, in consultation with the congregation, will initiate a Capital fund drive to raise money for a specific purpose to further develop the mission and ministry of St. Margaret’s.

Building Fund: Building for the Next Generation! A fund for future building needs of St. Margaret’s: e.g. New Education wing; new Worship Center; Long term maintenance, renovation and repair.

Thank Offering and Memorial Fund: A designated fund that individuals can contribute to in thanksgiving for births, anniversaries, etc., and a Memorial fund in memory of loved ones. Specific requests can be made for the use of designated funds.

The Arts at St. Margaret’s:  An opportunity to provide instrumentalists for special services, and to bring programs from all disciplines of the arts -- music, dance, drama, visual -- to St. Margaret's Church.

The House of Prayer: Designated gifts can be made to the House of Prayer for bricks and mortar; the Garden, Outdoor labyrinth; benches, etc.

The Columbarium Fund: Gifts can be made to the Columbarium fund for Stations of the Cross; gardening, maintenance.

Spiritus: A Center for research, study, and training in Theology, Spirituality, and Ministry. Gifts may be made to individual programs sponsored by the Spiritus Center at St. Margaret’s.

Ways to Give: There are a number of ways to give to the Church:

  • Insurance policies naming St. Margaret’s or a specific ministry of St. Margaret’s as the beneficiary
  • including the Church in your will
  • gifts of stock, land, other property
  • the Kroger Card
  • automatic bank drafts
  • payment through your online bank
  • use GoodSearch.com as your search engine and type in St Margarets Episcopal Church - Little Rock under "Who do you GoodSearch for?"
