All Saints Liturgy for Planting of Crosses

Leader    
Lord Jesus Christ, you built your church on the rock of redeemed humanity;
through Peter and Paul,
through Columba and Margaret,
through Luther, Teresa, John 23rd, Bonhoeffer,
through all the saints of every age,
you extended, reformed and diversified the household of faith.

All
We, who inherit their work today and reap from what others have sown, bless you for all our mothers and fathers in God. Like them, may we so love and serve your kingdom that generations yet unborn may benefit from our witness; and, when the grace of life on earth shall end, find for us a place in the company of heaven, for your love's sake. Amen.

All            Stay with us now.

Leader    The God of Moses and Elijah,
All             Stay with us now.

Leader     The God of Andrew, Peter, James and John,
All              Stay with us now.

Leader     The God of Margaret,
All              Stay with us now.

Leader     The God of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,
                  crucified, dead, risen and ascended,
                  keep us in the commonwealth of heaven now and evermore.
