Arkansas CARES is a
residential and outpatient facility for low- income mothers undergoing
treatment for alcohol and substance abuse and their children up to age 12.
Families who are fighting a drug or alcohol problem need real help, not harsh
judgment.
Real help is provided by
Arkansas CARES from child care and parenting support to job preparedness
training. The center has an amazing 80% success rate in guiding families
through recovery to a full and healthy life----together.
Volunteers are needed who
would like to rock babies in their nursery, read stories to their young
children, teach sports to the children, help with the inside and outside
physical maintenance, and offer enrichment classes to the mothers and their
children in art, music, dance and writing.
