St. Margaret's Church - Who We Are

We are men and women, young and older, life-long Episcopalians and newcomers to this Church.  Some of us have come from other faith traditions.  Some of us are still members of other churches but all are worshiping here as we seek to discern where God wants us to be.

We are a community of people seeking to be faithful to our baptismal promise to continue in the Apostle's teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in the prayers.  We also take to heart our baptismal obligation to seek and serve Christ in all people and respect the dignity of every human being.

St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church is a part of the Episcopal Diocese of Arkansas and the Episcopal Church in the USA.

Episcopalians are also known as Anglicans because we are a part of the Anglican Communion - a fellowship of churches with over 70 million people throughout the world, including Africa and the Middle East, as well as North and South America, Europe and Australia.  The Archbishop of Canterbury in England is the spiritual leader and symbol of unity for the Anglican Communion.

Welcome to St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, a mission of the Episcopal Diocese of Arkansas.

As Queen of Scotland, Margaret was generous to the poor, led a life of extraordinary piety, and brought much needed reform to the church.

For more information about who we are, please see our Mission Statement and History in the “About Us” Link.
