On this episode, hear from Jennifer O’Brien, author of The Hospice Doctors Widow: A Journal. Jennifer’s career has been as an educator and administrator in the medical field. She was married to Dr. Bob Lehmberg, a physician who cared for hospice patients. After Bob was diagnosed with a stage IV metastatic cancer, Jennifer became his caregiver, and documented their journey through diagnosis, treatments, caregiving, and death. Her art journal is a combination of Bob’s wisdom and perspective as a hospice physician, and her honest and beautiful reflections as a spouse and caregiver. Now known as the Hospice Doctor’s Widow, Jennifer is sharing the wisdom gained through her book, her website, and numerous speaking engagements.
