God be in My Head: A Prayer for Lent
God be in my head – and in my understanding.
God be in my eyes – and in my looking.
God be in my mouth – and in my speaking.
God be in my heart – and in my thinking.
God be at my end – and in my departing.
Dating to the 16th Century, the “Sarum Prayer” offers a prayer both of great simplicity and great depth. During the upcoming Lenten season, we’ll explore this prayer together, inviting God to dwell in our bodies, in our souls, and in our actions, too.
Compass Groups are small groups, hosted and facilitated by members of St. Margaret’s that meet weekly during the season of Lent, beginning March 1. Groups are available on different nights of the week. Please fill out a registration form here.
