Join us for On Tap Theology
on the first Thursday of each month from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Starving
Artist Cafe located in the Argenta district of North Little Rock. We'll
discuss faith, God and church while also enjoying a frosty brew or glass of
wine.
On Tap Theology is focused on fostering a community and discussion
with adults in their 20s and 30s, regardless of current or past church
experience.
The Starving Artist
Cafe is located at 411 Main St. in North Little Rock. For more
information, contact Randall Curtis at curtisonline@gmail.com.
When is it? For 2008/2009: Oct. 21, Nov 18, Jan 20, Feb 17, Mar 17,April 21, and May 19.
Where is it? We meet in each other's homes, the hostess for each meeting will only be responsible for providing the beverages. Appetizers will be potluck from those attending. We’ll eat anything, don’t worry about being too fancy!
How does this book club work? It’s open to all women of St. Margaret’s. If you’ve never come before, please come now! We’d love to have you. We read all kinds of books, the only requirement (and not a hard-line one at that) is that it have a semblance of a spiritual leaning, not necessarily Christian, either. We like to learn about all religions. Serious books, fiction, light-hearted stories or ones that make you think hard, we like them all!
The book list - Email us with your suggestions or bring them to a meeting. We’ll email the list of books out as they come in. One suggestion is "The Shack" by William P. Young.
