All Creatures
and
their Special People
are
Invited to Attend.
The
Blessing of the Animals is held annually
at St. Margaret's
in honor of the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi,
who loved all of God's creatures.
Please arrive
ensconced
in
your favorite cage
or
wearing your finest leash.
Creatures of all religious
beliefs are welcome.
Treats provided
following the ceremony.
A Blessing Certificate
and St. Francis
Medal will be given to each creature who
wants one.
